I’m a violinist looking to form a duo with another violinist or possibly string quartet to form a group specifically for weddings and other events in the West Midlands/Worcestershire area.
I was a semi pro violinist for 10 years plus and also was 2nd violin in a wedding gig string quartet before members left to have kids. We would be starting from scratch including marketing and promoting ourselves to venues and clients unless you come with pre-existing contacts and hopefully lots of music! Hi, I’m a cellist from Worcestreshire. I am already in 2 string quartets and duo but always looking for more gigs. Have you thought about a violin and cello duo? Clients seem to be wanting to spend less and less on live music these days
