Slack Habits is a York based blues-rock band but the sound ranges from rock and electric blues to smoky ballads with shades of reggae, funk and all sorts of other stuff on the way. It's mainly originals but we do throw in a few covers
We're an easy-going crowd but very experienced and serious about the music. We don't care what age or gender you are as long as you're good!
Our style's been described as "quirky and laconic rock" and "sultry, Bohemian and hedonistic" (whatever that means) but it's hard to categorise so here are a couple of videos to show you what we're about:
