Looking for a bass player for new 4-piece indie/pop/rock band (think Kings of Leon, The 1975, James Bay, Lower than Atlantis, etc). Album’s worth of material written which has received a degree of industry interest – looking to complete the lineup in order to start rehearsals and get the ball rolling properly.
Strong backing vocal ability is essential – previous touring and recording experience is preferred. This position is open to anyone from the UK, but willingness to travel would definitely be crucial (myself and the drummer are based in Nottingham and Sheffield respectively, and its likely that a lot of activity would be taking place in London). Appropriate performance ethic – charisma, good stage presence and image – is also a must.
Looking for a great, confident player and performer with a passion and drive to create a career for themselves in the industry. This is a SERIOUS project with big aspirations, and we’re looking for someone with a likeminded outlook who’s not afraid to put in the necessary work to enable this to reach its full potential.
Please note that this is not a creative role – the material is mostly written and a creative strategy is well in place. We’re looking for someone who is happy to be sent parts to learn, and who would be excited to be involved purely for a love of playing their instrument, touring, recording, and all the other adventures that come as part of being in a band.
