The Hair Rock Experience is seeking a committed female vocalist to provide harmonies and occasional lead vocals in the lower range (for instance, Poison by Alice Cooper, Alone by Heart, both a semitone lower than original).
VOCALS – Must be competent at working out your own harmonies, preferably lower than the lead vocals. Experience working with live bands with 3- or 4-part harmonies would be an advantage, although our main assessment of this will be at the audition. Must be able to work as part of a team, and be happy to change vocals accordingly.
STAGE PRESENCE – The show requires choreography, so a good sense of rhythm and the ability to dance would be beneficial. Stage presence is also important – we want our audiences to be able to connect with us, and most of all, have a great time! The show is very tongue in cheek, we have a laugh, and our audiences love that about us! You will be expected to have a “character”, and dress in costume (including wig!).
VENUES – We play at prestigious rock clubs, festivals, and theatres all over the country. Rock clubs and theatre shows require our own marketing – we have to sell tickets. If you can help with the business side of the band (or are willing to), let us know in your application.

We will be holding auditions around the Milton Keynes area, and generally this is where we rehearse.
