Guitarist looking for vocalist for cover duo

Experienced and professional guitarist looking for male or female vocalist to form cover duo with (to start off, could increase to band). I have been working in a duo and band abroad for the last 4 years which came to an end so looking to form a duo for UK work.

Looking to target the cocktail bar/pub market to start and then make inroads into wedding and corporate gigs in the future. Just get gigging as soon as possible! Want to get this off the ground so it becomes self-sustainable.

Acoustic to start off with. Style wise I play a wide variety, from blues, jazz, funk, pop, country, rock, reggae, americana, latin and pop. Enjoy making my own arrangement of tunes and doing them in an acoustic setting utilising the loop pedal.
Currently based in Plymouth but am happy to travel for rehearsal/gigs. Ideally someone with their own transport as I don’t currently have any, but with an acoustic setup the gear would be fairly light anyway.

I sing a bit so we could work out some harmony stuff but most of the onus would be on you to be the lead vocalist so we would work within your range and style. If you play an instrument as well that’s a plus but not a necessity.
Serious applicants only please, and at least semi-pro. Above all, vocal ability is most important, as well as being easy going and committed. If you own your own PA system that is a plus though I do have a suitable mixing desk for a duo and we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Age wise we’ve got to be compatible, I am 28 so between 18 to 30’s I think.

Take a look at my previous duo’s show reel to get an idea.

I am mainly posting to see if there is someone out there who is as keen as myself to get something going, testing the water so to speak. If you have questions or think you might be suitable just get in touch to discuss details or anything else.
