Finding Georgia is an established (2012) Country Rock band from Leicester. We have vocals, keyboards, lead guitar, bass and drums. We also have a fiddle player where required. We regularly perform at multiple festivals annually and have gigs in the diary including a slot at HRH CROWS at Sheffield O2 in September 2019.
We are looking to expand our sound with a versatile rhythm guitar player. We play some rocky covers from contemporary country female artists such as Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert. However, the band are now shifting attention to writing. We focus on hooks and lyrics but with a heavier sound which is more ‘Cadillac Three’ and ‘Whiskey Myers.
We are looking for an accomplished and creative rhythm guitarist who can pick up the occasional riff. The ability to contribute to writing and backing vocals are a bonus but not essential. We rehearse weekly in North Leicester just off the A46.
We have a busy programme and whilst we are focused on what we do, we all enjoy our time together and so a sense of humour along with a ”can do” attitude is hugely important to us.
