Jazz drummer wanted, Ilford, London

[We need a jazz drummer]
We would like a versatile drummer that is comfortable playing varied jazz material, has a good sense of dynamics and enjoys coming up with their own parts.

[Who we are]
o Keyboard player, trumpet player and double bass/electric bass player
o We’re all experienced musicians that either gig in other bands currently or have gigged in the past
o We all have full time day jobs but love playing jazz in our spare time

[What we do]
o We play a mixture of original instrumental material, modern jazz covers and a handful of jazz standards
o The emphasis of the group is to play jazz with a modern slant be it melodically, harmonically, rhythmically or all three at once!

[Where/when]
o We meet once a week, 8.30-11pm on a weeknight to practise in Ilford

We haven’t gigged this group yet. We want a drummer on board before we do. We want to play gigs in and around London, up to once or twice a month.
