A name without individuals to operate it is in essence useless. That is why I N T E R S T E L L A R are seeking to receive applications from musicians all over Scotland to begin the operation of what will be a Scottish unsigned Folk Pop/Rock band.
A high level of commitment and understanding is required of applicants as its important to make clear that I N T E R S T EL L A R will be challenged by the same trials and tribulations that all new and unsigned bands are faced with, including financial aspects and therefore, all potential applicants should be aware that this, at least in its early stages, should not take the place of a current job that applicants may have. As applications are being taken from up and down Scotland, it must be made clear that a massive commitment to logistics of this operation is necessary to be successful as rehearsals, recording etc are likely to be within or around central Scotland, however this should send out a clear message that the agenda of I N T E R S T E L L A R is positive and will be more than just a pub band, with a clear path to follow.
