Hello,
We are an Indie pop folk band called “The Occassional Orchestra” and we’re
looking for a new piano/organ/keyboardist.
We have,
A new album released called “Clever Bones”.
A previous album also available on iTunes called “22 Arches”.
Management.
Festivals booked for this summer.
Been likened to Deacon Blue / Beautiful South and R E M.
We are,
Based around the Midlands and the South.
Predominantly family people who include our partners and children as much as possible.
We are at the early stages with this project as we’ve had some unavoidable interruptions to our schedule.
About to start work on a new album.
Looking for a piano/organ/keyboard player , male or female, who will contribute and be an integral part of the bands sound.
We don’t,
Rehearse every week, but, do expect individuals to prepare the material in there own time in readiness for rehearsals/gigs.
Make any money from gigs at this time as we put all the fees back into a kitty to pay for the future
recordings/etc. Having said that, travel expenses for bookings are available depending on distances.
Our Aim,
Promote the new album, get as much air play and perform as many gigs across the UK as possible.
To achieve maximum CD and digital download sales by utilising our marketing strategy.
Build a following on Facebook / Twitter to support the marketing strategy.
The management are booking us into a variety of venues and events including family friendly festivals,
some big and some small, and we are getting excellent feed back about the new album.
Are you,
Able to perform to an intermediate, or, above standard ?
Have reliable equipment, with quality piano and organ sounds ?
Willing to travel for rehearsals and gigs ?
Competent, creative, sensitive, communicative and above all reliable ?
If you are interested, would like any further information please let us have an email address and we’ll let
you have mp3s of tunes from the new album, and we’ll arrange a day and time for an audition.
Best wishes.
