About d-drumming

I was born in 1972. I am playing the drums for 32 years and played in several Orchestras and Bands. Additionally I was also acting as instructor and auditor for the Kreismusikverband Rhein-Hunsrück.

The following milestones will give you a short overview about my career as drummer.

[1975] - first recognizable abilities as drummer :-)
[1981] - first own drumset
[1982] - start of orchestral career in the Muskiverein Niederheimbach
[1983-1987] - professional drum training Landespolizei-Orchester Rheinland-Pfalz
[1985] - start musical career in the Youth Orchestra Kreismusikverband Rhein-Hunsrück
[1987] - successfully passed examination D1 (bronze musician badges)
[1988] - start playing drums with the BigBand 69 (St. Goar) with gigs in ZDF Fernsehgartenand the SWR Radio
[1988] - successfully passed examination D2 (silver musician badges)
[1989] - successfully passed examination D3 (gold musician badges) / start at Coverband Ratatouille
[1990] - international concerts in Italy including audience at the Vatican
[1990] - successfully passed examination C2 (instrumental teacher orchestra)
[1991] - international concerts in the former CSSR as well as in France
[1993] - start playing drums with Madism (until 2005)
[1993] - first gig as Support of the Crackers during their "Planet der Lackaffen" Tour
[1995] - workshop with Dave Weckl (Prosound/Drumsonly)
[1996] - Recording and Release of first Album "Think about Rock"
[1997] - "Think about Rock" Tour including as Support of the Spider Murphy Gang
[1998] - Recording and Release of second album "Welcome to your life"
[1998] - second place Deutsche Talentbörse (German Talent Exchange) in the category "Bands"
[2001] - Recording and Release of third album "When our worlds collide"
[2002] - start of d-drumming web presence
[2004] - jam sessions with the Marcus Breiteneder Band and Thorn Eleven
[2004] - Recording and Release of fourth and last Madism album "Killing Enemies"
[2005] - since 2005 drummer of Neronia
[2006] - changing gear -> Yamaha drums and Zildjian cymbals
[2007] - first gig with Neronia
[2008] - GEMA member
[09/2008] - Release of Blue Circles
[2009-2010] - Blue Circles Tour with several Gigs in different locations
[2011] - Writing new Songs for third Neronia album
[2012] - TEN YEARS D-DRUMMING!!
[2012-2013] - Recordings for the third Neronia album
[2013] - Member of Musiker in deiner Stadt
[02/2014] - Release of "Limnotapes
